About the Practice
Gorokan Dental Implant and Cosmetic Centre commenced helping Central Coast patients with their smiles back in 1978 in a totally refurbished dental practice on Wallarah Road. Since then, numerous advances in dental procedures have been made, and Gorokan Dental has been at the forefront of them all.
Dr Tony Collins heads the team of caring and qualified dentists at Gorokan Dental, and has held a Bachelor of Dental Surgery since 1970. Since then, he has continued to study and hone his dental skills and has been at the forefront of implant dentistry on the Central Coast. In 1994, he was awarded a Master's Degree in Clinical Practice, in the field of implant dentistry.
In 2002, Dr Collins was awarded with an Honorary Life Membership of the Australian Society of Implant Dentistry of which he has been Federal President for the past four years. He has also been awarded honorary Fellowships by the Australian Society of Implant Dentistry and by the International Collegiate of Oral Implantology (ICOI)
In his spare time enjoys flying from Warnervale Airport and has competed in and completed the 1000+km Sydney to Melbourne Ultra Marathon five times!
